Walleye Searchers of Minnesota is a nonprofit organization with the objective of bringing together people that are interested in learning more about Walleye fishing. In addition to club fishing tournaments and monthly meetings; club activities may include family, educational, conservation and community functions. Occasionally, informational speakers are invited to the monthly meetings to bring us valuable information about our local fishery.
Most of the club’s fishing takes place on Pool 4 of the Mississippi River between Red Wing and Wabasha. Pool 4 includes Lake Pepin, many backwater areas, and long stretches of river to explore and learn. The rich diversity of Pool 4 makes for incredible opportunities to learn all of the techniques involved in catching the elusive Walleye.
