Our next club meeting will be held on Feb 2nd, 2026 @ the Eagles Club in Rochester, MN. We host a DNR presentation @ 6:00 PM with club meeting to follow @ 7:00. Both are open to the public, and we encourage anyone to attend.
February Blues
Days are getting longer, average high temperatures are climbing. We spend our spare time going through the boat giving attention to all those little things that we were far too busy fishing to be bothered with. As I am pouring jigs, building a bigger fluid bed and air brushing lures, I ponder that eternal life question. Where ta heck am I going to put all this tackle?
February is a good month to finalize those fishing trip plans, sort and organize tackle storage or just give up and order another B&B box. I'll be honest, I have an addiction problem. I have cranks baits that have never had a bath in their life, and I keep buying and making more. I need an intervention!
We have roughly a month to go until the Freeze Your Butt tournament. This is a true sign Spring is on the way. Stay warm!
